LOSE FAT BY ADDING A LITTLE SPICE TO YOUR LIFE…
With the New Year arrival so is the flood of e-mail’s asking for my “secret” for weight loss and being Fit. There is no secret but I do have some TIP’S to make it a little easier;
The key to weight loss is taking in fewer calories than you burn, or burn more calories than what you take in. What you eat can give you tremendous advantage with weight loss. The meaning of “you are what you eat” is the truth; food is nothing but a bunch of chemicals that unravel during digestion and become part of your body. The key is to eat foods that help your body’s digestive systems run smoothly and optimally, so your energy and METABOLISM stays set to high. Certain herbs and spices can help you maintain a healthy body weight by increasing your metabolism, shrinking fat tissue and suppressing your appetite.
My first choice before anything else is the proper supplements, InfiniteLabs Carnitine MTX. L-Carnitine transfers long-chain fatty acids, such as triglycerides into mitochondria, where they may be oxidized to produce energy. Carnitine has also been shown to reduce fatigue and serve as an appetite suppressant as well. Phenyl Core, consist of a blend of components of exclusive mix of natural ingredients selected to promote fat loss from several distinct angles.
|As for spices; Cayenne pepper, one of the best fat-burning spices, burns calories by triggering a thermodynamic burn that lasts hours after eating. The University of Maryland Medical Center recommends 30 to 120 milligrams of capsaicin per day.
Cinnamon added to food helps your body to metabolize sugar 20 times faster and lower your body’s blood-sugar levels.
Ginger is a vasodilator, meaning it expands the blood vessels and increases body heat and metabolism by 20%. Ground, pickled or fresh, it works in all formats to burn fat. Ginger’s vasodilation properties also detoxify your body as it stimulates circulation.
Although vitamin C doesn’t necessarily cause weight loss, it seems to be related to body weight. According to the review published in the “Journal of the American College of Nutrition,” higher vitamin C intakes are associated with lower body-mass indexes. The authors of this review also point out, those getting sufficient amounts of vitamin C increases body fat oxidation during moderate-intensity exercise. Therefore, vitamin C deficiency may hinder weight and body fat loss. Add some lemon to your water, drink orange juice, and eat grapefruit in the morning.
Tea, especially green tea, is rich in antioxidants that have been proven to speed metabolism,
Apples (along with berries) are a fantastic source of pectin, which limits the amount of fat your cells absorb because of its water-binding properties.
Soybeans contain lecithin, which helps your body to keep your cells from accumulating fat.
Bananas have approximately 450 mg of potassium, a naturally occurring chemical that boosts metabolism and regulates the body’s water balance.
Garlic is a natural antibiotic, a blood sugar regulator, and also works like a thermogenic in the body. It boosts metabolism and keeps insulin levels low to maximize fat burning.
Mustard Seed, Add mustard to your meal, and feel the burn—literally! Scientists at England’s Oxford Polytechnic Institute found that by eating 1 tsp of mustard (about 5 calories) can boost the metabolism by up to 25% for several hours after eating. Not only that, a study published in the Asian Journal of Clinical Nutrition found that visceral adipose tissue of rats fed a diet of pure lard was lowered when the diet was supplemented with mustard oil. The Zero Belly benefits can be attributed to Allyl- Isothiocyanates, phytochemicals that give the mustard its characteristic flavor. Just be sure you’re heating things up with a pure and low-calorie variety (mustard seeds and vinegar). That means avoiding anything that’s neon yellow or honey-based.
You are what eat, so eat your way to a Fitter healthier you.
